Dr. Becky Cawrse grew up north of New London on a commercial hog farm.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Ohio State in 1995 and received her DVM from Ohio State in 1999.  She spent 1 year in western NY, then 6 1/2 years in Ft. Recovery, OH before coming to Byland Animal Hospital in 2007.  She enjoys working with livestock producers and pet owners to provide the best medical care for her patients.

Dr. Cawrse and her husband, Mark, have 3 children: Anthony, Allison, and Austin, and their Golden Retriever Brutus.  She is a member of the Ashland County Board of Health, a Girl Scout troop leader and she and Mark are active members of St. Peter's Church in Loudonville.
